"YOU MUST SEE IT TO BELIEVE IT"

Barbara H. Hartsfield opened this three-room museum and gift shop in 2009, on Main Street, in historic Stone Mountain Village, near Stone Mountain Park.  It exhibits her Guinness World Record collection of miniature chairs, (NOT doll furniture). The record for 3,000 miniature chairs was established in 2008.  The museum has been featured in local, national, and international publications.

The museum building is a renovated historic house, constructed in 1850. It survived an attack on Stone Mountain Village by Sherman's army, during the civil war.  "Historic Stone Mountain Village " is listed in the National Registry of interesting places to visit. The Gallery is listed on a map of national "Roadside Attractions," identified by the Antique Trader Magazine.  The map highlights unique museums and attractions throughout the United States. This museum was selected among facilities located in the Southeastern region.
